In
order to establish a good interaction between industrial
circle and academia, frost potential students and
enhance competitiveness of industry, Mr. Su, Chun-Te,
President of Technology Base Corporation, represented
TBC donating a set of cold chamber die casting machine
to National Taiwan Ocean University. The donation
ceremony was held at the demonstration plant in NTOU on
the morning of June 5th 2002.
Dr. Huang, Rong-Jian, President of NTOU, represented to
accept equipment and the faculty attending this ceremony
included Dr. Wu, Zhong-Shu, Secretary of Director, Dr.
Cui, Yan-Hong, Dean of Dep. of Maritime , Mrs. Lai, Hui-Ling
, T.A. and Dr. Zhuang, Shui-Wang, Associate Professor.
of Dep. of Marin engineering.
We all are in the hope of developing good ways of
cooperation.
NTOU appreciated TBC’s concern about its development and
education in the academia. Dr. Huang indicated that the
feedback from the industrial circle to the academia will
provide students with better practical training
environment; the university also relies on this feedback
to improve and optimize its R&D in injection & control
system of die casting machine, CAE, CAD and die molds
technologies etc. Meanwhile, the academia will return
its favor by offering outstanding resolving plan for die
casting mechanism.
By holding the benign interaction, we hope this can
improve students’ practical work experiences, strength
their theoretical knowledge and help them to become
elites in the industry after graduation. It is a win-win
situation created by both sides and we look forward to
more enterprises supporting the long-term development of
the academia.
